Catching Sunlight

Description

This sunlight is slippery stuff, always moving, sliding away from where you expected it to be. I've heard it said that light has an absolute speed, a speed that cannot be shifted up or down but only sideways. But then, if that's so, then why do we slow it down with vats of honey-oil before using lenses to condense it into Bright-Gems? And I've tried doing it without he slow-down; it doesn't work at all that way, even if you spend days tweaking the lens array. I say, let the thoughtful heads do what they do best- generate hot air. I'll stick to the practical side of things, myself. Stars only know that it's more fun wrestling with light than with ideas, anyway.

I love crackle glass, it's so sparkly. These lemony yellow coin-shaped beads caught my eye, and I thought they'd go quite well with brass and the last of my gunmetal-colored aluminum. I quite like the result, it just seems so perky and energetic. :D

For sale for $10 plus shipping, note me if you'd like to have it! :D This one's a 1-of.

Love this design, the nestling of the jewel in the little bed of wire is very cute. ^^
