Mom's Frog Star Quilt

See, artistic inclination runs in the family. This awesome 10-point star is the handiwork of my Mom. We do argue sometimes, yes, but I stand in awe of her skills and the sheer amount of effort she puts into everything. For instance, most star quilts are 4 or 8. Nope, this one's 10. And canning garden-grown veggies, homemade jelly, making clothing and bags, being a hairdresser... It just floors me. And none of those are her main jobs, they're things she does in addition to a regular job as a Personal Service Assistant in a facility that helps people with mental and physical issues do useful work and earn a paycheck. (NOT an easy job!!)

tl;dr = my mom has the awesome.
