I Cannot

I cannot think in a straight line
but why bother when there are swirls and whorls and starbursts to distract me?

I cannot think a full sentence
because my pool of words is always bubbling over.

I cannot think in words
when ideas are so much prettier.

I cannot think in folders and categories
when each individual something is so strikingly different from every other one.

I cannot think around corners
because I cannot see the walls, I walk right through them.

I cannot think only light thoughts
because there's a short in the lightswitch.

I cannot think outside the box
because I cannot find the box.

And that suits me just fine.
