Dear friend and crafter

's attention was caught by my elemental amulets, and he kindly commissioned me to make something special for him- a set of coins, each with its own element. This project caught my imagination, and I've put quite a bit of thought into each one, more than I can properly put a number to, because each one crept randomly into my thoughts even when I wasn't working.

As a test of my workmanship, I'm not going to tell which of these coins is what. Tell me what you think each one is, and that way I'll see how well I did. I will say this- earth was the most difficult in terms of finding a way to represent it. Earth is ubiquitous, it's so much a part of things that it's almost hard to notice sometimes.

Each coin has a stone bead- red jasper, kambaba jasper, autumn jasper, chrysocolla and amethyst. I'm pretty sure each coin is about 1.5 inches, but I haven't measured them (can't find my measuring tape

). They're a bit larger than a quarter-dollar coin.

These are so shiny that it was very hard to get a good photo. I tried at different times, in different lighting conditions, and this was the best photo of the lot. I tried to make them clearer in GIMP, but this was the best I could do, because the wires seemed to glow in the photo.

Let me see from left to right, Fire, Earth, Growth, Water, and finally my Air. (Wow I am Air and you use Amethyst? That's my favorite stone!)

You're awesome! They all seem to really fit, the only thing I would have suggested would be a bit for green for Growth, but that is all I can think of.
