Angel For the Short One

For the eventual birthday of my wonderful niece!

*minor grumble* It's hard enough getting a decent picture of steel wire. D'you have ANY IDEA how ridiculously difficult it is to get a pic of steel on slightly iridescent clear glass?? Aaaaagh! *grumble over*

This started as a revamp of the style I used on my [link] (Green Moon Charm), because I saw the potential to look like wings. I'm much happier with the back this time, even though it was a bit hard to photo.

Angels aren't something I do often, but I felt that this just fit too well not to do. The bead sticking up from the center is a greyish-purple irregular pearl, because pearls are all about innocence, beauty and joy, but perfect pearls are boring and boring and get on my nerves. It's the flaws that make us interesting!

So, steel wire, copper wire, glass and one irregular pearl.

I hope she'll like it! (I'm not giving it to her until her actual birthday. )
